Sucesso todos os anos, o Seminário da Mulher Administradora chega a sua quinta edição. Com o tema Mulher 360º - A busca pela excelência, sucesso e felicidade, o evento de 2010 pretende reunir cerca de 300 mulheres no mês que as homenageia.
O seminário acontecerá no dia 30 de março de 2010, no espaço cultural Anatel. Será uma tarde. Das 13h30 às 18h. Na programação estão previstas palestras, apresentações culturais, distribuição de brindes por parceiros e serviços nas áreas de estética, saúde e desenvolvimento profissional.
As entrada, no dia do evento, serão dois quilos de alimento não perecível.

Calendario de Vacinação contra INFLUENZA H1N1
Caros colegas, Fiquem atentos!!!
O ministério da Saude, já soltou o calendário de vacinação contra INFLUENZA H1N1.
Haverá quatro etapas de vacinação, de 8 de março a 7 de maio. Caso ocorram alterações na situação epidemiológica ou na disponibilidade da vacina, outros grupos poderão ser vacinados numa quinta etapa.
Observe se você esta dentro da faixa etária e não se esqueça de vacinar!!!

Teacher education for 21st Century Teachers: A Focus on Collaboration to Improve the Quality of Education in the Americas.
A number of topics of interest in this section have lately been touching on the role and impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in society, especially in the field of education. These topics stress the importance of the use of technology and Web 2.0 interactive tools for professional development at all levels, for creating communities of practice and infusing classrooms with up-to-date methodologies that will motivate students to learn and to acquire 21st century skills. Some examples to illustrate this are:
In the article "Challenges to Educational Quality" the author states that “If Distance Education is currently at its peak, due the extensive academic offerings provided by this educational medium, we now have the opportunity and the possibility of making this into an element for qualitative change to Higher Education in general”. Participants mostly agree that distance education is a potential contributor to the improvement of educational quality at all levels. Participants also mention that ICT mediated distance education allows people in isolated places to have the opportunity to advance their learning in ways that would otherwise be impossible.
The author of “Educating with help from a network?” predicts that the use of new technologies in education will become an added value in the process of training people once teachers begin to incorporate these new technologies into their daily practices. Participants who have had the professional networking experience give great value to that experience and describe interactivity among peers to exchange experiences and knowledge as the main value of networking.
In another article “Being a Teacher in Schools Impacted by the Internet” , the author states that it is necessary for a teacher to master new technologies, pedagogies and management as well as acquire new work strategies. When asked about what changes need to be made in teacher professionalization for them to be up to date to meet these requirements, participants agree that teacher professional development is key to building these new skills in teachers. At the same time participants stress that computers by themselves do not make any change in the process of teaching and learning and the pedagogy behind their use is what potentially makes a qualitative difference.
In recent years Ministries of Education in the Americas have focused on improving equity in education. However, while progress has been made in terms of coverage, the issue of quality is still a pending one. Compared to their peers in OECD countries, most students in the region still lag behind when it comes to demonstrating desired learning outcomes.
In the context described in the discussions mentioned above, authors and participants think that with the help of computer technology, network support and collaboration with peers around the region, teachers can benefit from having new resources and learning from and with each other.

O guerreiro da luz olha a vida com doçura e firmeza. Sabe que está diante de um mistério, cuja resposta encontrará um dia - mas ainda é cedo para respostas.
Então procura comportar-se de acordo com as suas convicções e sua fé.
Volta e meia, o guerreiro para e diz para si mesmo: “mas esta vida parece uma loucura”.
Ele tem razão.
Entregue ao milagre do cotidiano, ele percebe que nem sempre é capaz de prever as consequências de seus atos. Às vezes age sem saber que está agindo, salva sem saber que está salvando, sofre sem saber por que está triste.
Sim, é uma loucura. Mas a grande sabedoria do guerreiro da luz consiste em escolher bem a sua loucura.

O Clube de Criação do Rio de Janeiro fecha a semana em alta, ao assinar uma mensagem impressa elaborada para a entidade pela F/Nazca S&S, que festeja a vitória da cidade do Rio de Janeiro nesta sexta-feira, 2 de outubro, na Dinamarca. O título engrandece a Nação, brincando com o jeito irreverente do brasileiro por meio de um contraponto cultural: “Yes, we créu.” Vai duvidar? Junto do logo do CCRJ, a mensagem se completa: “Parabéns, Rio, cidade-sede 2016. E parabéns, Chicago, Madri e Tóquio. Vocês também são cidades muito bacanas”. Diante deste anúncio e dos demais criados para celebrar as Olimpíadas de 2016, alguns deles ilustrando a newsletter de hoje, fica claro que com o espírito de competidor do brasileiro não há quem possa, principalmente em suas manifestações publicitárias, afinal, propaganda também é paixão no Brasil. Agora é torcer para que o mesmo espírito nos faça chegar às Olimpíadas como vencedores no preparo da casa e, ao longo dos jogos, como anfitriões abençoados por Deus, pela Cidade Maravilhosa que dele recebemos, e como esportistas que competem para ganhar sem desmerecer, nunca, a capacidade e, em alguns casos, a vitória do próximo.
